Commissioned by ~Hogulus.

T'is Heavy and Bomb, from fabled Chaotix Fame! Check it out! :P VERY little fanart of these guys are around. o_O Well, come to think of it, very little art of theirs is around period. The not-so-popular duo from the wacky ring bungee game, still holds a special place in Hogulus' heart. ^__^ And I had a blast drawing them. Something new! AND, for a complete change of pace, I actually drew the background, instead of doing a shoddy background job, I actually DREW the background! OMG!

*falls over* And as you can tell, Heavy and Bomb are in Sonic Adventure style. But, I tried something new this time, the platform they're standing on, obviously from Sonic 1 Scrap Brain Zone, was colored differently. I'm trying to learn how to use the Dodge and Burn tools, and it looks OK. o.o I'm quite impressed. I really like the platform and the electric generator. XDDD

Heck, even the background behind those were hand drawn! I'm so proud of myself.

And, from the response from the commissionee, I can tell he's pleased, too. >_>

I love the flames in the background, but... Heavy's eyes! XD I know it's probably down to artistic license but I tend to draw his eyes in visibly as if they glow, like so (not to plug my work on your works ><
I've never seen anyone draw Bomb though, so good work on him, especially the arms - they ish cool.

awww man! memories OR WHAT! damn that level kept you on your toes. i remember how hard it was to compleate but its cool. the picture is great though. really takes you back. actually looks like the level only at a different angle which is strange as the level was only 2d but you've still kinda kept that factor if you know what i mean... well hell its a great picture so it doesn't matter! great job!

Wow, nice! They even have the SA style to them! The background looks good too, it reminds me of the 2nd stage in Sonic 2.

Well, uh, everything I said in my emails still holds true of course, about the platform looking good-grimy and the lightning thing looking very neat, as well as Heavy and Bomb themselves looking fantastic, and I'm too lazy to repost it here, so yeah. You get the idea. (adds to favorites, forgets what +favorite emoticon is)

that really good. I like the scene you used. It looks a lot like scarp brian zone. The character designs are excellent as well
