About a month or two too late, oh well.
As many may or may not have cared, my computer died on me about a month or two ago, so I was 'blissfully' unaware of the ensuing danger that rapidly approached Sonic fans of (almost) all ages. Little did I know, that Yuji "Nazi" Naka decided to fire the entirety of the Sonic voice acting team in one swift movement, just after we had finally gotten used of their newfound voices... After all those years, when we got used of the voices, and loved many of them (Eggman, Shadow <3), the decision to remove the rest of the cast in favor of cheaper alternatives... whether or not this decision was also due to the fact that the previous GLORIOUS late Eggman voice had been silenced, and couldn't find a suitable replacement on such short notice, or the fact that the newer generation of Sonic Fan's are the ones watching the bastardized Sonic X in English, thusly wouldn't 'recognize' the voices used from previous games...and they didn't even have enough gall to tell the actors to their face until Ryan Drummond had to ask if he was going to be recording Sonic's voice for the New Shadow game, then got handed the bad news. I'dbe pissed too.....bah ranting again... Anyway...when I finally heard the news of this tradgedy this image was burned into my mind. OF course, I hadn't drawn anything decent in ages, and it reflects in this image (which, I can bet about 75% of the responses to this will be "OMG AWSUM PIC"), I am rather disapointed that I wasn't able to "Draw Sonic Right" in thise picture... though it did turn out somewhat decent, from justfrom memory. I need to rework on the designing aspects... In either case, I have a computer now, this image sucks moderately but accurately reflects my views on this matter, sadly, trying ot whiddle down some images I'd like to complete... Summer's over, etc, etc.. back to work!  I need another vacation. I think your piece conveys what a lot of Sonic fans are thinking about right now. I mean, the spirit of Sonic will still live on in a sense, despite a simple change of voice, but a part of him (and all the others) did die the day Ryan got the bad news...

Hopefully Sega will have some sense knocked into their brains (doubtful) and re-hire Ryan and the gang.
My ears bleed while listening to the voices on Sonic X.
Perhaps Sega should have considered this: fans of the games were freaked by the voices when Sonic X came out. Possibly moreso than the Sonic X fans freaked when they played one of the games.
Look, who's going to be more likely to play games, anyway? People who play games, or people who watch cartoons? It's a really stupid idea.
